A quiet storm of faith. For a person who had no plans to be an entrepreneur, Independent National Sales Director Candy Lewis is very thankful her sister never gave up sharing the Mary Kay opportunity. “She was having fun while I was working at a dead-end job, going nowhere.”Candy feels her sister and her husband, Gerard, were the wind beneath her wings. “They believed in my ability before I did,” she says. When Candy’s sister passed away, Candy was determined to build something powerful in her name. “She became my ‘why’.” Candy continues, “My MASSIVE area is a unified family that produces greatness within each individual!”

Her husband and son, Gerard, Jr. and daughter, Amber Skye, appreciate the flexibility that she has with her Mary Kay business. Candy shares, “We love to be together – playing board games and pool, and traveling. My family and I are living a life full of possibilities and the best is yet to come.”

Candy will never forget the special encouragement from Mary Kay Ash. “At New Independent Sales Director Education Week, she took my hands in hers and said, ‘Go back home and earn your Cadillac; I know you can do it!’ Mary Kay had a way of making you feel like you could walk on water, and that anything was possible.”

Candy says leading women to full circle success is her greatest joy. “I love the philosophy of God first, family second and career third. My faith has grown to new levels with my Mary Kay business. God and Mary Kay are the bookends of my life!”
